The Amulets of the Kerma Culture\u00a0<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Il progetto \u201cThe amulets of the Kerma Culture\u201d, finanziato dal Shelby White and Leon Levy Program for Archaeological Publications (Harvard University e Harvard Semitic Museum), nasce con l\u2019intento di compiere uno studio sistematico degli amuleti di cultura Kerma (Sudan, 2500-1500 BCE). Scopo primario \u00e8 quello di realizzare un\u2019analisi tipologica e distributiva del materiale finora inedito. Altro obiettivo del progetto \u00e8 quello di riunificare virtualmente le collezioni degli amuleti attualmente conservate in tre musei \u2013 Museum of Fine Arts di Boston, il National Museum of the Sudan di Khartoum e il Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Art et d\u2019Histoire di Ginevra – in un digital repository. Inoltre, i risultati della ricerca confluiranno in una monografia corredata da un catalogo. Il progetto si \u00e8 svolto presso il Museo Orientale \u201cUmberto Scerrato\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
